Jim’s career in funeral service started as a summer job in his hometown of Walla Walla, Washington. What began as a simple opportunity quickly grew into a lifelong calling to support families during one of life’s most challenging times.

After marrying Jennifer, his partner in life and business, Jim pursued his education at a prestigious mortuary school in Dallas, Texas, while gaining experience at Restland Funeral Home, one of the largest funeral homes in the country.

Jim’s dedication to excellence took him across the nation, from Portland, Oregon, where he completed his apprenticeship, to managing multiple locations in Texas for leading corporations like Service Corporation International and Carriage Services.

Together, Jim and Jennifer have also successfully owned and managed a variety of small businesses outside of the funeral industry. Their entrepreneurial perspective and commitment to excellence have set them apart.

This unique blend of funeral service expertise and business innovation has shaped All Valley Cremation into what it is today: a leader in providing simple, meaningful, and affordable cremation services.
